তিন ধরনের Noun phrase:

• Appositive phrase: অন্য noun কে নতুন তথ্য দিয়ে ব্যাখ্যা করে, comma ব্যবহার হয়। Example: Mr. Salim, my favorite English teacher, is doing this assignment for me.
• Gerund phrase: Verb + ing দিয়ে শুরু হয়। Example: The ringing of the phone during the prayers in the mosque disturbs me much.
• Infinitive phrase: to + verb দিয়ে শুরু হয়। Example: I like to have a cup of tea in the morning.
