T. S. Eliot (Thomas Stearns Eliot) ১৮৮৮ সালের ২৬ সেপ্টেম্বর সেন্ট লুইস, Missouri, USA-তে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন।

তিনি American-English poet, playwright, literary critic ও editor ছিলেন। ১৯৬৫ সালের ৪ জানুয়ারি লন্ডনে মারা যান। ১৯৪৮ সালে সাহিত্যে Nobel Prize পান।

তাঁর জনপ্রিয় কবিতা: The Waste Land (1922), Four Quartets, The Hollow Men, The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock, Ash Wednesday।
